You could say I was born in an arcade — not literally, but pretty close.

My story begins on a bus ride in the '80s, when my mom and dad met on the way to the arcade my grandfather owned. It wasn’t just any arcade — it was a neon-drenched sanctuary that hit all your senses: the hum of retro machines, the clack of pool balls, and the smell of popcorn and pizza in the air. Every day, my dad rode that same bus, hoping to see my mom again. And one day, he did. The rest is history — including the part where I was once changed as a baby on a pool table under those same flickering lights.

Growing up, I was always told, "You need to open a collectible card shop or an arcade one day." That piece of advice became deeply embedded in my mind, shaping my entire life. I grew up among joysticks, quarter slots, and the kind of stories that only come from a family-run arcade. Before it was eventually sold, that original place became part of who I am — a mix of grit, nostalgia, and a love for all things classic.

The turning point came when my dad officially passed his own incredible collection down to me, handing the torch of our family's passion to the next generation.

Altezza Game Shop is the realization of that lifelong dream. This shop is more than just a retail store — it is a living tribute to my grandfather’s name, my dad's legacy, and the amazing collection he entrusted to me.
